S- Proverbs 15:8
The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.
O- God hates pretense. (Luke 18:10-14)Don’t come in pride and bring a sacrifice and think I look good to Him and everyone else. God is about relationship, if my heart is not connected to Him, don’t bother. What He wants is connectedness that comes from living in communion, (faith, prayer, obedience, participation in His plans) with Him. This is what is pleasing to the Lord.
A- I must examine the state of my heart before the Lord continually. AND AGREE WITH HIM REGARDING SIN IN MY LIFE. Pride comes before a fall but humility comes before honor.
P- Father I choose to honor you and live in humble communion with you. I want to do what is pleasing to you, but like Paul stated, I don’t always do it. I know that you Love me and sing over me always. There is no greater thing than knowing you.
